Weekly Offering
Every week, at the Life Center South meeting, we take an offering so that we can continue to go out and do the work that God has assigned us in the community of Lakewood. Also, giving is a part of being obedient to God. God doesn't need our little pieces of paper. His work is going to get done. God does, however, need our obedience and willingness in order to transform us. Culture says that money is the most important thing in a persons life, but as Christians we know that a man's faith in Jesus is his most valuable treasure. That is why many Jesus people give 10% of our income (which we call tithing) to the church. By giving our money we declare a spiritual truth: in obedience we trust God in everything and rely on him while acknowledging his authority in every aspect of our lives.
Online Giving
Some people prefer the ease of online giving, and now you have that option. Online giving is super easy and saves you the trouble of having to carry your checkbook or run to the bank before Sunday service. Also, you can sign up for auto-withdrawl if you enjoy the convenience of automatically having your tithe drawn from your designated account each month.
